Singer-songwriter, Richard Chase brings his 20-plus years of
performance and song-writing skills to Wendell's famed Full Moon
Coffeehouse capping off their 26th season supporting benefits with
great entertainment.
Warm and engaging stage presence, heartfelt lyrics, seasoned guitar-
work,
smooth singing: all add up to Richard Chase.
Chase will be performing both solo, and with his well-synced back-up
band featuring drummer Seth Hoffsommer, guitarist John Miller, and
bassist Bryan Barstow.

Chase's songs are fresh and honest and reveal an introspective mind
unafraid to probe feelings each of us can identify with: songs about
fear, hope, love and celebration.

"Chase writes songs where reality and dreams collide. A seasoned and
working performer, Richard is steadily sharpening his stagecraft --
his shows are always uplifting, and deliver the unexpected. In a good
way, you will be transported."

Whether you are moved to dance, tap your feet, or hum along with a
tune that you know (or will soon recognize), you will not be
disappointed. The music draws you in to its world - one that is full
and varied and will leave you completely satisfied.

Although Richard Chase and his quartet were one of the featured
acts playing to a standing-room-only audience at a recent Wendell
Full Moon Coffeehouse show (the 'Full Moon Follies Show'), This is
his first time as the main feature for the coffeehouse. Richard has
also performed at three Northampton Music Festivals, many an annual
'Starry Starry Night' - a gala New Year's event held in Orange,
Massachusetts, as well as the The annual Garlic and Arts Festival
also in Orange.

"Richard Chase is an incredibly talented and thoughtful performer.
His sensitivity and genuine affinity for his audience is returned by
their appreciation and down-right love for his music." (Manuel King
- founder of the Starry Starry Night New Year's Eve Celebration)

Seth Hoffsommer has performed and taught drums and percussion in a
wide variety of musical settings for over twenty years. Seth has
studied with the likes of Alan Dawson, Robert Kaufman and Gregory
Caputo and has numerous performance and recording credits. Seth
lives in Millers Falls with his wife Camilla.

John Miller attended Keene State College where he majored in music
performance. A well known musician in the local scene, John is a
musician's musician who is proficient in all styles and has been
playing and recording with various artists over the last ten years.
In addition to guitar, John also plays bass, piano, mandolin and
trumpet to name a few.

Bryan Barstow resides in Barre and is a talented and much sought
after bassist who is currently involved in no less than three widely
varied musical and recording projects. We are very fortunate to have
the talents of Bryan.

"Richard Chase's uplifting vibe, calming voice, and tasteful, honest
writing soothe my soul..."(Ethan Stone- writer, performer, & founder
Tool Town Live!)
