[Wendell-sustainable] good farm dog needs work

Last year we simplified our farm operations by getting rid of the sheep 
and the goats.  These groups were the responsibility of our border 
collie, Violet.  He is a  four-year-old  registered BC whose parents 
were both international champions and has no work to do now.  This is 
not fair to him and will eventually lead him into mischief.  We love 
him, but we must give him away. He is a good worker, well disciplined,  
affectionate, and with no emotional or physical difficulties.  He knows 
how to work a herd and he does it with enthusiasm.  He works well with 
people and lives to work. With very little training, he could also do 
well in field trials. We are looking for a farm in need of a work dog to 
give him to. If you know anyone who could put him to work, please spread 
the word.  Thanks.
