THE GYPSY WRANGLERS TO PLAY THE WENDELL FULL MOOON COFFEE HOUSE

Saturday, November 7th, 2009 7:30 p.m.

$6 - $12 (978) 544-5557 http://www.wendellfullmoon.org

Partial proceeds to benefit Temenos Retreat Center

On Saturday November 7th at 8 PM The Gypsy Wranglers are coming up the
hill to Wendell. The Gypsy Wranglers create a musical cattle drive from
Paris, Texas, to Paris, France. Like Camenbert cheese on a sourdough
biscuit, their music is a special blend of New Orleans Jazz, Western
Swing, Ragtime, Benny Goodman, Django and French Mussette. A Gypsy
Wranglers performance will take you to a New York nightclub of 1938, a
Paris sidewalk cafe and a Texas roadhouse, all within a half hour.

The music, drawing from the traditions of such jazz greats as Louis
Armstong, Django Reinhardt, Bob Wills and Benny Goodman, is performed
on fiddle, guitar, accordian, trombone, bass and drums, with
appearances by blues harp, chromatic harmonica and mandolin.

The Gypsy Wranglers have entertained audiences at festivals, concerts,
weddings, fairs, schools, radio and cruises throughout New England, and
were featured at the 2004 Carrefour Mondial de l'Accordeon in Montmagny
Quebec. Readers of the Valley Advocate have selected the Gypsy
Wranglers as their favorite swing band in the annual GRAND BAND SLAM
for the past 4 years.

Wendell Full Moon shows always support a local beneficiary, and
January's show will share proceeds with the Temenos Retreat Center.

Doors open at 7:00PM, Open Mic at 7:30, Main Act at 8:00.

Don't miss the fun!
