Hi Wendell Meethinghouse friends and supporters
  
Most of you have attended at least one of our discussions this summer, and
others have indicated interest in following the discussions via this
special list. 

Please let me know if you know others who might like to be included on the
list.  Being included does not entail attending meetings or any other
obligations -- it's purely for information and exchange of views.  Even
Wendell residency is optional.

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT:

Regarding the Friends of the Wendell Meetinghouse, I have been contacted
by a donor who has asked to remain anonymous who has offered to match 2
for 1 any donations, up to a total of $1,500, received on or before
Wendell Old Home Day, August 20, 2011.  After that time, matching
donations, dollar for dollar, will be given up to another $1,000 until
October 1, 2011.

These funds will be used for maintenance that will make the building more
weather tight (including but not limited to exterior painting), address
any potential safety issues (which could include a wiring inspection), and
for interior cleanup.

Please make out checks to The Wendell Meetinghouse and send to:

OLD HOME DAY MEETINGHOUSE BOOTH COMMITTEE

Those interested in helping Marianne Sundell with preparations for our
Meetinghouse booth at Old Home Day, please attend the the special meeting
this Thursday, 7:30 pm at the Wendell Senior Center.
We are planning a raffle, and would like to offer refreshments and sell
T-shirts.  Also please let Marianne <msundell65 at hotmail.com> know if you
can help staff the booth on August 20: 10 am to 4 pm on August 20 is a
long stretch!
