Dear Friends,
We will be having our Annual Meeting on Monday, October 15 at the Senior Center. As some of you know, there are three significant changes in our Bylaws. We have made membership more simple and straight forward, for a membership fee of $10 you become a member. We have increased our Board of Directors to from 5 to 11 people and we have added the position of Vice-President. The membership will be presented with a slate of board members and a slate of officers on which to vote at our annual meeting.


We are actively seeking people who are interested in joining the board. This involves a commitment to come to our monthly meetings.  The board votes on what steps we will take to continue our work to bring the Meetinghouse back into use for our community. Our current major project is window replacement. What will be next? Our new board will be working on a plan and priorities for next steps. Our current clerk, Melinda Godfrey, who has been doing this task with aplomb for many, many years, would love to pass the job on to a new board member. Please consider not only joining our board but taking on the task of clerk.
